Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how RepLift handles your information when you use the RepLift app. By using RepLift, you agree to this policy.
Information RepLift collects
Account information: if you create an account, RepLift stores basic details such as your email address.
Activity data: your workouts (exercise type, reps, earned minutes, streaks) and earned/spent screen-time balance, so your progress syncs across your devices.
Apple Health (steps): with your permission, RepLift reads your step count to calculate the screen-time minutes you earn from walking. This is read-only.
Camera: when you do a camera workout, your phone’s camera is used on-device to count reps. The video is processed locally on your device and is never recorded, stored, or sent to RepLift or anyone else.
Subscriptions & purchases: purchases are processed by Apple. RepLift receives transaction identifiers to confirm and manage your subscription. RepLift never sees your card details.
Device & notifications: a device token used to send you notifications (e.g. trial reminders).
How RepLift uses your information
To provide the app’s core features (counting reps, earning and spending screen time, syncing your progress).
To manage your subscription and free trial.
To send you notifications you’ve allowed, such as trial reminders.
To maintain, secure, and improve the app.
Apple Health
Step data read from Apple Health is used only to calculate earned minutes. It is not used for advertising, not sold, and not shared with third parties, in line with Apple’s requirements.
Camera & video
Rep counting runs entirely on your device using Apple’s on-device body-pose detection. No image or video from the camera leaves your device.
How information is shared
RepLift does not sell your personal information.
RepLift shares limited data with service providers that help run the app, such as Apple (payments and notifications), its push-notification provider, and its hosting provider — only as needed to provide the service.
RepLift may disclose information if required by law.
Data retention
RepLift keeps your information for as long as your account is active. You can ask RepLift to delete your account and associated data at any time (see Contact).
Your choices & rights
You can turn off Apple Health access, camera access, and notifications at any time in your device Settings.
You can request access to or deletion of your data by contacting RepLift.
Children
RepLift is not directed to children under the age required by your region, and it does not knowingly collect their data.
Security
RepLift uses reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however.
Changes to this policy
RepLift may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above will change when it does.
